Effective date: October 31, 2026
Druids Glen Golf Club (“Druids Glen,” “we,” “us” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit druidsglengolfclub.com (the “Site”), book a tee time, buy a Players Card, request a lesson or contact us, and how we use and protect that information.
Information we collect
Information you give us
- Inquiry forms: your name, email address, phone number (if provided) and your message, plus any details you add for a specific request. These include a preferred date, number of players or guests, budget or type of event for tournaments and private events, and the lesson type, skill level, preferred coach and whether the lesson is for an adult or a junior for lesson requests.
- Email list signups: your first name and email address, and your consent to receive marketing emails, when you join our email list on the Site.
- Tee time bookings and purchases: when you book a tee time or buy a Players Card, Winter Pass or other product online, the booking or purchase provider collects the details needed to complete it, such as your name, contact details and payment information.
- Chat and phone: information you share when you use the chat assistant on the Site, call us or email us.
Information collected automatically
- Usage and device data: pages you visit, links you click, the referring website, approximate location (city or region), browser type, device type and IP address.
- Form source details: when you submit a form, we record the page you submitted it from and, if you arrived through a link with campaign tags (for example from an email or our Google Business Profile), the campaign source of that link.
- Cookies and similar technologies: small files stored by your browser that help the Site work, remember your preferences and help us understand how visitors use the Site.
How we use your information
- To process and confirm tee times, Players Card purchases and other transactions.
- To respond to your questions and requests, including sending lesson requests to the coach you choose and tournament or event inquiries to our staff.
- To send you booking confirmations, reminders and service-related messages.
- To send you tee time deals, frost delay alerts and course news if you have opted in. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any marketing email.
- To operate, maintain, secure and improve the Site, including preventing spam and fraud.
- To understand how visitors use the Site so we can improve our content and services.
- To comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information.
How we share information
We share information only as described here:
- Service providers who help us run the Site and our business, such as website hosting, online tee time booking, payment processing, email delivery, customer relationship management, analytics and spam protection. They may use your information only to provide services to us.
- Our management company, which helps operate the course and may access information as needed to provide services to Druids Glen.
- Legal and safety reasons: when required by law, or to protect the rights, property or safety of Druids Glen, our guests or others.
- Business transfers: if the course or its operations are sold or transferred, information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
Third-party services
Some features of the Site are provided by third parties that have their own privacy policies. These include:
- Online tee time booking (TeeItUp). When you book online, you are using the booking provider’s platform, and your payment information is handled by that provider and its payment processors. We do not store full payment card numbers.
- Daily Deals and chat assistant (Sagacity Golf). The Daily Deals widget and the “Ask me anything” chat assistant are provided by Sagacity Golf. Information you enter in the chat is processed by that provider to answer your questions.
- Analytics (Google Analytics) to measure Site traffic and usage. You can learn how Google uses data at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites and opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
- Customer relationship management and email (HubSpot). When you submit a form or join our email list, your submission is saved on the Site, sent by email to our staff so they can respond, and stored in HubSpot, the platform we use to manage inquiries and send marketing emails. HubSpot processes this information on our behalf. See the HubSpot Privacy Policy.
- Spam protection (Google reCAPTCHA) on our forms. Use of reCAPTCHA is subject to the Google Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
- Embedded videos (YouTube), such as our hole flyovers, and maps and directions (Google Maps). These services may set their own cookies when you play a video or open a map.
- Reviews (GolfPass and Google) that we display on the Site.
Cookies
We and our service providers use cookies to keep the Site working, remember choices such as whether you have already seen or closed our email signup window, and measure how the Site is used. Google Analytics sets cookies to tell visits apart. HubSpot sets cookies that help us understand how visitors use the Site and, once you submit a form, link your later visits to your contact record so we can better respond to you.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you do, some parts of the Site may not work properly. Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” setting; because there is no common standard for these signals, the Site does not currently respond to them.
We only add you to our marketing email list if you choose to join it, by checking the consent box on an email signup form or on a lesson request. Joining means you agree to receive emails from Druids Glen about tee time deals, frost delay alerts, course news and specials. Submitting an inquiry form (for example a tournament quote) does not by itself add you to our marketing list.
You can unsubscribe at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any marketing email or by contacting us. We may still send you transactional messages about your bookings or purchases.
Children’s privacy
The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. Lesson requests for junior golfers should be submitted by a parent or guardian. If you believe a child has given us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
Data retention
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, such as responding to your request, maintaining our records and meeting legal requirements, and then delete or de-identify it.
How we protect your information
We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect your information. No website or method of transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop sending you marketing emails, by contacting us using the details below. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable law, and we will respond to requests as that law requires.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the effective date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be posted on the Site.
